What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils, or plant-based extracts for therapeutic benefit. By stimulating smell receptors in your nose, different scents send signals through your body. When smell receptors are stimulated with a relaxing scent, it can calm the mind, body and spirit.
Historically, aromatherapy has been used to help manage pain, improve sleep, boost immunity and even calm mood swings.
