Our Partners

Change to Chill™ by Allina Health is proud to partner with community organizations to help teens
become more aware of what stress is, what causes it and how to manage it. Our community partners also help us develop and share resources for parents, educators, and adults to positively impact the mental health of someone they care about. Together, we are working to help teens live happier, more resilient lives.

Hennepin County Public Health

Since 2020, Change to Chill has partnered with Hennepin County Public Health to provide culturally specific mental health resources to youth most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including Black, Indigenous, Hispanic or Latinx, and LGBTQ+ youth. Learn more about Phase I of this work here.

Change to Chill continues to build on this work by partnering with community organizations serving and working in collaboration with Black, Indigenous, Hispanic or Latinx, and LGBTQ+ youth. Read more about our partners in this work below.

Annex Teen Clinic

Located in Robbinsdale, Annex Teen Clinic helps young people in Northwest Hennepin County and North Minneapolis take charge of their sexual health. The Annex does this by providing low-cost sexual health services to young people through age 25, including clinical services, referrals, follow-up and education. True to its founding principles, the Annex also continuously incorporates youth voices into program and service development and implementation through the organization’s three youth councils. Learn more here.

Check out the resources the Annex created for LGBTQ+ youth and supportive adults in partnership with Change to Chill.

Creative Kuponya

Creative Kuponya is a multimodal company that is community driven and minority led. Mental health services include individual and family therapy with a focus on diversity and inclusion, helping clients to heal without barriers. Creative Kuponya also conducts mental health, diversity, equity and inclusion trainings to help organizations working to create more inclusive workplaces. Additionally, Creative Kuponya began facilitating community transformative sessions in South Minneapolis after the murder of George Floyd. Learn more here.

Creative Kuponya partnered with Change to Chill to develop resources on the effects of discrimination and racism on mental health and ways to cope. Read more here.

Indigenous Peoples Task Force

Located in Minneapolis, Indigenous Peoples Task Force (IPTF) works to strengthen the wellness of the Native community in Minnesota in a way that is based in indigenous values and ways of knowing. This includes connecting Native people to the indigenous healing traditions that have been passed through generations. Moreover, IPTF is creating a vision of healing that will benefit all people and our mother earth. Learn more here.

Adults and leaders within IPTF created resources on indigenous ways of healing and cultural teachings to help Native and Indigenous youth manage stress and anxiety. Read more and watch the videos they created here.

Anoka-Hennepin Schools

One of the largest school districts in the state of Minnesota, Anoka-Hennepin Schools serves 13 suburban communities north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The district has 26 elementary schools, 6 middle schools (grades 6-8), and 5 traditional high schools, plus alternative middle and high school sites, in additional to an award-winning Community Education program. Learn more here.

In addition to collaborating with many Anoka-Hennepin Schools through the Change to Chill School Partnership, Change to Chill has also worked with the district on the Change to Chill Podcast. Most recently, we supported district staff and students in the production of a song called “Better” alongside Minneapolis musician Tracey Blake. Watch the video below.
